The mission of NG:The Next Generation in Wine is to unify the next generation of Napa Valley’s family wineries and vineyards through collaborative marketing, education and fun
As representatives of established wineries, the members of NG:The Next Generation in Wine came together to create a wine-friendly community that offers younger wine enthusiasts an alternative way to access their wineries.
NG:Next Generation in Wine began in 2006 during a lunch discussion about the idea of bringing together as a group the “next generation” of Napa Valley’s family wineries and vineyards to socialize and have fun.
This great idea taken to the next level by the founders, Lisa Augustine, Holly Finkelstein, Chris Hall, Liz Marston and Kristen Spelletich discovering that NG:Next Generation of Wine could be more than a social organization. The NG:Next Generation of Wine concept grew to include the value of peer to peer networking through collaborative marketing, it could highlight the sustainability of the family businesses and provide a platform for community activities.
A year later a NG:The Next Generation in Wine launched with six members.
NG:Next Generation in Wine has over 30 members. The group well known for its events including a trade event in February and various consumer events throughout the year.
